NOROC

First of the innovative programs was Big-hearted Grannies. They give individual attention to the little ones, and benefit from a small salary to supplement their pensions.  Later, Big-hearted Grampas was added.  Big hearted Friends was formed to help the older youth integrate into society, find jobs and housing. There are regular Bible study groups, cooking classes, and outings.  A Horse Program was started to help youth who had a hard time relating to people.   At the moment, there is not a missionary assigned to NOROC, but Carolyn White and her husband, who were involved in other ways, spend months at a time visiting Romania and helping with the children.   There is a monthly newsletter.
